Art joined Kimmel Athletic Supply in May of 2005 after completing the most successful high school coaching career in the history of the state of Oregon. Art coached high school baseball for 30 years the won 572 games, the most wins for any baseball coach in Oregon's history. Art was named the "High School Baseball Coach of the Year" in 2006 by the National High School Baseball Coaches Association and was also inducted into the "Oregon High School Coaches hall of Fame" in 2006. In his 30 years of coaching baseball, Art also coached football and basketball. Baseball was, and remains his true love.
